Same issue for me. macOS Catalina 10.15.6 xcode 12.0.1 Macbook Pro 15" 2017 with 3.1ghz i7 and 16gb 2133mhz LPDDR3. When I use the preview-feature in SwiftUI, or run the simulator, fans start to run full speed until Spotlight eventually crashes. If I restart spotlight it just keeps crashing every once in a while.
