Thanks Quinn for your responses here on the forum. But the way this process works is frankly completely unacceptable from $3,6T company. There's no way to estimate how long the "detailed review queue" is. No indication that you are stuck in "detailed review queue". No emails saying "hey, sorry the review is taking a while". I hope you have someone you can complain to about the current state of notarization. I understand it must be difficult to deal with all these complaints on this forum. This is my first experience with Apple Developer Program, and I've just been waiting since Monday (it's now Friday), with absolutely no indication that anything is happening at all. I'm really grateful I never had to use any Apple products until now. It's not OK that the documentation says, "this usually takes less than an hour" and then it can actually take, who knows how long. At least if the documentation was accurate, you could prepare for this and start the notarization process well in advance to the date when you want to ship your software.
