having the same a similar issue on Intel with Xcode 13.1, Big Sur 11.6.1 and iOS 15.1. The rviN device lasts for 20 seconds until the idle timer fires. I've managed on a couple of occasions to get the idle timer to stop (not sure how) and at this point the rviN device persists.
