I had to change the question as I had discovered that I had selected the multiplatform option instead of the ios option in the Xcode projects menu, so as one cannot delete questions here, I asked another one (the second question) which was giving me headaches.
As for the second question, when I build the project with Xcode 11.4 on another machine running macOS Catalina, I am not facing the problem, I have tried cleaning the Build folder and deleting Derived Data, but on Xcode 13.2.1 the problem persists.
No one ever does. 1 year on. From Xcode 11 till now, Apple has been somehow making Xcode worse and worse year on year. We didn't have any of this, even in Xcode 13
