My question is with regards to the user privacy and data use where permissions will now be required to access the IdentifierForVendor API. In our application, we use the value of the IdentifierForVendor API internally in our application, as in the value is never transmitted out of the application at any time during the lifetime of the application. In other words our application does not use the value to track users or their devices. Do we still need to ask for permission for that use case?

Hello all, We have an app live on the app store. The app is a pure native app. This week the customers started reporting to us that the app is crashing on launch after updating their devices to 14.2 (from 14.1). The common pattern we have observed is that most of the devices where the crash is happening are the iphone XS/XR variants. Other devices do not seem to be affected. I've attached the crash logs from one of the devices (bundle id and app name changed). We really need some assistance on this.
