WiFi network disconnected when CarPlay is active

Hi Team,

We are working on Application which uses external hardware over WiFi.

We are using "NEHotspotConfiguration" using EAPPEAP protocol to connect to WiFi.

in normal conditions app is working as expected.

When CarPlay service is activated at iPhone, CarPlay service is overriding wifi connection created by our app

Can you please help us,

  1. If there is any way to handle the situation.

  2. How to disable CarPlay service when app is opened?

Same here. CarPlay kills established WiFi connections which are in use. This is completely unacceptable API behavior and a critical bug in my opinion.

Since not being a CarPlay app, we can't even find out whether we are connected to CarPlay or not (thus being able to warn the user).

I have opened a feedback item. Please do so as well.
