SIP disables, admin login, still unable to copy kext to sys extensions folder

Hi, running Big Sur on Macbook Air and trying to copy a kext to the system extensions folder. I have SIP disabled, I am logged as an administrator but I still cannot access the systems extensions folder.

When I try to change the permissions of the folder, I get a msg saying I don't have the necessary permissions...but I'm the admin. I downloaded and ran three KEXT loaders, each say they ran succesfully, but the kext does not appear in the folder and it is not loaded. I suspect it is a folder permission issue, but I can't seem to get it solved. Help?
I am having the same problem. What changed in Big Sur? I'm on an M1 Mini, so the only difference I am aware of is that I need to hold down the power button to get into recovery mode.

Disabling SIP works like always, but then I don't have the necessary permissions...
KEXTs are deprecated and with new system extensions there is no need to cp extensions to its folder.
For how to install system extensions, here we go(OSSystemExtensionRequest)

And if u disabled SIP, u can install system extensions from wherever u want. On the contrary, app only in /Applications can install system extensions.
