I would like to increase the rate at which my app receives and processes data from a peripheral. I seem to remember reading that the iPhone's baud rate can be increased. How is this done?

How you can increase the throughput of your BLE connection (it is not increasing the baud rate), depends on many factors.

I exchanged my device's HM-10 for an HM-18, since HM-10 does not support DLE, but this does not work, and seemes to have rendered the HM-10 module useless.
