The App Store now shows all the apps have been updated.
I need Xcode 12 to run some specific code. Please help me. I need to update my Xcode.

You can install/upgrade to the latest version of Xcode through Mac App Store.
Or you can download any version you prefer through the More Downloads page.

I always update Xcode from the download/more page. I find it more flexible, more reliable and often faster.
