I'm trying to add Background Modes, but when I drag to my project appears a +. Saying that the capability will be added, after I release the mouse button, no capability is added.
Cannot Add Capabilities to my Xcode Project
In the Project targets, you need to :
go to Signing and Capabilities
Tap on "+ Capability"
Double click on the item in the list that appears
Same issue, if I insist on adding background modes Xcode crashes.
I was facing the same issue with Xcode 13 and after a while i figured out that my runner.entitlements file was in correct somehow. So i created a new flutter project using android studio and copy the contents of runner.entitlements to my existing file. After that all of my capabilities were adding in all three modes i.e debug , release and profile. I hope this helps.
