How to remove a capability entry in the Signing & Capabilities panel

I have created a new entry in the capability list (background modes)
None is selected, so that seems to have no effect.

However, I would like to remove this entry to clean the screen. But I cannot find any "-" button, nor contextual menu, nor editing in XML…

Is it simply possible to remove ?

I found a trick, but not very satisfying.

I opened the project in Xcode 10.
I got some warning on signing certificate that I ignored
There, in Capabilities, I could switch off Background modes
Reopened in Xcode 12, the entry was cleared.

Is it simply possible to remove ?

Can't you see a small ✖︎ at the right end?
Sometimes it may not respond rapidly, but it does remove the capability entry. (Tested in Xcode 12.4.)
