How strict are the version requirements?

I have an iPad Pro running the iOS 14.5 beta but the Swift Student Challenge page says that I must be running iOS 14.4.2. Will I be ineligible if I create it on 14.5?

I would downgrade but Apple has made it impossible to downgrade from 14.5 to 14.4 versions. What should I do in this instance?
I don’t know how strict the requirements are, but you can downgrade by connecting your iPad to Finder (on a Mac), or iTunes (on Windows), downloading the 14.2.2. IPSW file for your device from ipsw.me and click down “Restore” while holding down Shift, and select the IPSW file, then restore. All data will be lost though. If you have a friend or family member that has an iPad on a non-beta version, you could test it on that.

I am pretty sure it just has to work on 14.4.2, not that YOU have to be on 14.4.2. A playground made on macOS playgrounds works on iPadOS playgrounds - and app version is independent from OS version, so I doubt it really matters.
