Hi, I am thinking of creating an app for my iPhone, for only personal interest. To develop my idea, I may need to know this....

Can an app get data from iOS like absolute coordinate numbers of location of apps' icons on the home screen ?

if so, can an app modifies the location coordinate numbers to change(move) apps' icons on the home screen ?

AFAIK, maybe you can know there is an icon somewhere (don't know how), but not what app it is, for privacy reason at least.
