In a MacBook Pro laptop, Why can't I keep inputing one same letter by pressing the key, like K? In order to type ten kkkkkks in text input field, I have to knock the "K" key ten times. Why do they remove the keep imputing function? Or does it ever existed? Or is it related to languages?

Did you check In System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard repeat setting ?
In some apps, they selected not to repeat in order to show alternate letters.
In Safari, for instance.
