I recently purchased Macbook Pro M1 2020 mode with 8GB RAM from amazon.in. The delivery went smooth but i could find 2 issues :

  1. The MacBook arrived dead. Screen turned on only after connecting the adapter. If I’m not wrong, the MacBook should start automatically !

  2. The part number mentioned on the delivered MacBook(MYD82HN/A) is not listed in Apple support website.

The 1st issue led me to cross check and validate the MacBook, which ultimately resulted in finding the 2nd issue. Can anyone please clarify a bit on this ?

The MacBook arrived dead...

You would normally expect a new MacBook to have some charge in the battery.
However, it is not impossible for one to arrive with a flat battery, and need charging.
If it charged up okay, and now works correctly from the battery, then I would not worry.

The part number... MYD82HN/A

The page you link to, "Identify your MacBook Pro model", shows: Part Numbers: MYD83xx/A, MYD92xx/A, MYDA2xx/A, MYDC2xx/A

From the Apple Menu, select "About This Mac", then "System Report"...

You should see something like:
