If I enroll in Indoor Maps, and provide Apple with detailed wi-fi positioning from the building, will iOS users inside that building get more accurate GPS results?
I mean, will Apple use the data we provided to give better positioning? Or only if I'm using the MapKit (we already have an interface built, and would NOT be using Apple's).
Great question, and thanks for asking. If you register for the Indoor Maps Program, survey your space and provide a map, CoreLocation will be able to recognize the location as a participating indoor location and provide GPS-level accuracy indoors on all supported iOS devices. Devices don’t need to be using a particular app or MapKit to see location improve.

@Engineer to clarify, if I register for the Indoor Maps Program and conduct the location survey myself, will that location data be made available via Apple Maps? Or am I able to keep it private and only use it within my own app?
