I’m very new to iOS development and have a ‘free’ account while I learn the ins and outs of Xcode. I’m was running Xcode 13.3 under OS 12.4 and live preview on playgrounds stopped showing anything. When I checked out my account I am told that my session has timed out and I need to login. I put I my Apple ID and nothing happens. I’m missing something here, but I don’t know what. HELP!!!
First, restart the Mac. What do you get ?
Same issue. I’ve restarted a few times. I’ve even installed Xcode 14.3 beta. No difference.
Provide more details on what you mean when you say the following:
When I checked out my account I am told that my session has timed out and I need to login.
What do you mean by "checked out my account"?
What is the exact message you get telling you that you need to login?
What happens if you login with your Mac user account's password instead of your Apple ID and password?
Now it's working. I deleted my account from XCODE and put it back in and it works. My Mac did ask me to log into the cloud, and once I'd done that, the problem seems to have gone away.
