Hello,

I wanted to confirm something before implementing it. It's regarding in-app purchase. I have a sketch diagram I will attach with this reply.

I want to redirect all payments away from the app to our official website:

  1. User will create an account/ login to our iOS app.
  2. Select their desired eBook and add to cart.
  3. On clicking "CHECKOUT", the user will be redirected to an external link where they will make the purchase and come back to the app to access their eBooks/magazines etc.

I am guessing apple doesn't have an issue regarding this since users will not be purchasing directly from the app(in app purchase) right?

Haha nope.

Do you imagine that anyone would use IAP and pay even 15% let alone 30% if they could bypass it by doing that?

Read your developer agreement.
