I am developing an IOS app on my 2014 imac, monterey 12.6.5. for iphone 12pro (uwb,ni)

and there was forced update of the phone to 16.4.1 from 16.3 now my xcode 12 doesn't work with the iphone and the next xcode version requires Ventura which doesn't run on 2014 hw..

how can I downgrade my iphone?? and prevent further updates..

You can't downgrade your phone. You can install support files for iOS 16.4 to be able to debug your project on Xcode 12. Read the following article for more detailed information:
