I'm currently on Sonoma 14.0 beta but some applications don't work and I want to downgrade back to the previous OS but I keep getting an error with the drive thet says 'the volume cannot be downgraded. Please help. I have created a back up but feel that I'll need to use a previous back up as the latest one is on the new OS

Dave if you find a way to do it, please share! The Ventura.app on the store will not allow you to downgrade in Sonoma directly. Can't make a bootable Ventura USB, with the app in terminal, The bless of the installer Disk always fails. Just starting to think there is no viable way to roll back.
Have you tried going into Settings>General>Software Updates>Beta Updates and turn the beta releases off? Not sure if that would allow you to downgrade though
