Sonoma Beta Messages and SMS

Messages sent from macOS to any mobile device regardless of manufacturer are relayed through your iOS mobile device and its data plan through your carrier and not the Apple Messages Server.

My iPhone iOS 17 beta works. But via MacBook Air running Sonoma or an iPad running 17 beta does not. Something else must be the issue. Any ideas would be helpful. Both the Mabook and iPad running prior beta software worked fine.

iMessage on MacOS Sonoma seems to be a mess and the problems I'm seeing have been on all BETA's. I've reported it a couple times via Feedback Assistant.

I've got two laptops experiencing similar issues but the inconsistencies occur at different times on different messages on each device.

For example: I could be missing a text message on one MacOS Sonoma laptop but on the other MacOS Sonoma laptop its there but some other message is missing.

It's not just missing messages, unread and read, deletes not occurring, etc.

I was only running MacOS Sonoma for and thought maybe these iMessage issues had to do with iOS 16 compatibility so I moved my iPhone and iPad to the BETA as well and the issue still exists. My iPad is NOT showing any discrepancies with the phone.

All of this leads me to believe there are some issues with iMessage in Sonoma. If this isn't resolved, it could be a big issues!
