place can be NSWindowAbove or NSWindowBelow, not NSWindowOut
positioned place: NSWindow.OrderingMode,
An enum constant specifying the position of the aView relative to otherView. Valid values are NSWindowAbove or NSWindowBelow.
That's the meaning of assertion message.
