Question about Uploading my App to the Apple Store.

Another company is developing my app for my business, and they said they would need my Apple Developer Account to upload the app to the Apple Store. However, I assume they mean that I would need to actually give them the username and password to my account itself which I don't want to do. Also, as I'm the Admin and Account Holder, I see that I can manage a team.

My question is that how exactly do I add them to my team, and what role should I give them that will allow them to upload the app as well as future updates of it to the Apple Store but nothing more than that?

Go to App Store Connect, and under "Users and Access" you can add a user's name and email, and give them various rights. If you tick "App Manager", then click "See Permissions" you'll see what that role gives them. (Did you try any of this yourself?)

You don't need to give them everything, and you don't need to give them your password. NEVER give away your password.
