Problem with Xcode New File

I've lately been have a problem with the Xcode new file dialog. When I ask Xcode to create a new file, it offers only visionOS as the platform (no iOS, macOS, etc. templates are offered.)

Sometimes restarting Xcode will fix the problem, but lately, not very often.

I have been working on macOS and iOS apps for years now with my current setup, but this behavior is recent, within the last few weeks.

I am on macOS 14.4.1 and Xcode 15.3.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

Fixed the problem with a reinstall of Xcode. Not sure what got corrupted.

This is happening to me now, and a fresh download initiated from Apple Developer download page didn't help me; after fully deleting my first Xcode. :'(
