Issues found in iPhone XS iOS 18 update.

Hi Apple,

I'm a big fan of your emerging technology, but I recently updated my iPhone XS to iOS 18. Since then, I've encountered a couple of issues. First, whenever I use Apple Music and lock the phone, the currently playing music pauses for a second before resuming. This issue repeats 3-4 times when the phone is locked before the music eventually plays smoothly, but it happens again when I unlock the phone. It's quite irritating. Additionally, I've noticed a problem with vocal shortcuts. I assigned the shortcut "Lumos" to turn on the flashlight. While the toggle is activated, the flashlight itself doesn't turn on.

This is not a development issue for your app or for development tools, but a problem with an existing software.

Such an issue to better be reported in Feedback or in Users Support forum (https://discussions.apple.com/welcome).

I have the sane problem with my iphone 12. the music app keeps pausing for 1 second when i lock or unlock my phone. This is quite snnoying when i try to skip track while driving…

I have encountered same issue. Turn out is was because the new feature Vocal Shortcut is turn on. The issue was resolved when i turn the Vocal Shortcut off. Settings > Accessibility > Vocal Shortcuts, turn it off.

Thought ios 18 messed up my phone but it was indeed just me trying to be tech savvy.
