Image Playground stuck at Early Access requested

So the reason half of us can’t access image playground is because we don’t have the full download of apple intelligence (i think ) so you might have downgrade and then update to see if that’s the reason.. to also check to see if I’m right or wrong check you settings go to iphone storage scroll all the way down click iOS at if it not 15gb or higher you might need to downgrade….. let me know if this helped anyone

I have been stuck since release of 18.2 and still ongoing

Going on over 26 hours of wait time for me. Not sure exactly how long the waitlist is or what constitutes being selected moving forward, but it seems a lot of people are going on the 48 hour mark at this point with a pending request still showing. Some are speculating that it could be a bug. I’ve also read a couple interesting theories like since the image creator doesn’t use a server and can be used offline that it could have something to do with syncing your photo/video library as many of us I’m sure are in the thousands to tens of thousands of pictures stored on our devices as well as iCloud. Still, as annoying as it might be, it’s still just a beta and I’m sure that Apple will release another update addressing the issue of a lot of us being stuck in a pending state sooner than later. Just be patient people. This too shall pass.

I am a paid developer and I also have been waiting 3 days This is unacceptable they had time to fix this before weekend . I hope they have a fix Monday or they may lose a few paid developer.

My AI storage is a little over 3gb, with the total IOS storage coming in a bit under 15gb.

Mark Gurman posted a screenshot on twitter/X, appears to have come from Craig from Apple, stating that it is actually a waitlist and will be rolled out to developers “over the coming weeks.” I took a screenshot and tried to post it but it won’t let me.

Apple has confirmed it can take weeks for the slow rollout. Guess we need to be patient.

I'm having the same problem. Basically available early access slots filled up quickly, and Apple is going to make more in the coming weeks. So all we do is just wait

However, if you are tired of waiting, there is a workaround. Simply ask Siri to ask Chatgpt to generate an image. It's not the same but at least it works

Same, it’s been on “Access Requested” for over 3 days now. Requested it right after I updated to iOS 18.2 Developer Beta 1.

Friday October 25th Apple updated the "Feedback" app with the following statement

With the iOS & iPadOS 18.2 and macOS Sequoia 15.2 betas, you can join the waitlist for early access to Image Playground, Genmoji, and Image Wand in order to test and help improve these features. You can request access within any one of these experiences: Image Playground app Image Playground integration in Messages or Freeform Genmoji integration in the emoji keyboard, or Image Wand within the Apple Pencil tool palette in Notes We will roll out access to Image Playground, Genmoji, and Image Wand over the coming weeks. When the features are ready for you to test, you will be notified. After you receive access, you can tap the thumbs up or thumbs down that appear with each result in Image Playground, Genmoji, and Image Wand in order to provide feedback.

I‘ve been stuck for over 50 hours

I’ve been stuck on 48 hours definitely seems to be taking its time to roll out

Over 48 hours for me and nothing.

I have a developer beta account and have been waiting for 3 days now. I’m not sure how they pick and choose who gets it and when.

Same I have been awake all night waiting I waited till 3am in the morning
