I'm also interested in this feature. But it doesn't seem to be working yet. I followed all the steps in the WWDC video and I'm still getting the old boarding pass template.
Semantic BoardingPasses landed in iOS 26.

The beta spec displayed in the WWDC25 session is outdated. Please see the following documentation to adopt semantic boarding passes in Apple Wallet:
