The most recent KDK for MacOS Sequoia that appears in the Downloads is for MacOS 15.5 (24F74), but the current version of MacOS Sequoia is 15.6 (24G84) and 15.7 (24G207) is in RC. Is there an ETA for the KDKs for 15.6 (24G84) and 15.7 (24G207) to be made available to download? Many thanks for any help.
Thanks. The sooner, the better.
I think we're now "up to date" again* but please let me know if there's a specific build that's missing and that you need.
*We aren't planning to backfill obsolete seed releases but if there is some reason that we should do so, please let me know.
One clarification on this point:
Is there an ETA for the KDKs for 15.6 (24G84) and 15.7 (24G207) to be made available to download?
KDK releases are tied XNU builds, not system releases. We release a KDK for "most" system updates because the kernel was rebuilt in that release but that isn't true of all releases, particularly security updates "later" in the update cycle. In this case, we have released a KDK for 15.6 (24G84), but we will NOT be releasing a KDK for 15.6.2 (24G90) or 15.7 (24G207). That's because those other releases are all using the same kernel as 15.6 (24G84), specifically "xnu 11417.140.69", so you can KDK we read 15.6 (25G84). Note that the command:
uname -v
...will print the XNU build version.
