Xcode doesn't recognize Icon Composer file

I'm in Xcode 27 beta, with Icon Composer 2. When I try to run my app, I see this error:

/Users/barnabeskordas/Downloads/Projects/PocketGoals/AppIcon.icon: Exception while running actool: *** -[__NSPlaceholderArray initWithObjects:count:]: attempt to insert nil object from objects[0]

I tried to

remove the icon file and add it back freshly
clear derived data
quit and reopen xcode
restart my mac

None of them worked, what should I do?

Hello, can you please attach the .icon file you're using, as well as any related crash reports you can find? Thank you!

Or if you prefer, you can file feedback and attach the data to that feedback.

No matter what .icon file I use, even if I test it by creating a whole new clean project, then add a fresh new icon from Xcode. It fails. Tested with icon composer 1.5, 1.6rc, beta 2. I didn't get a crash report/feedback, only the error I attached.
