RCP3 Tutorials

RCP 3 adds a lot of artist-facing surface: lightmaps, Animation Graph, Script Graph. Are step-by-step, artist-oriented tutorials planned beyond the API reference docs? A guided onboarding path would help 3D artists adopt these features much faster.

Hi @SteveTalkowski

I'd recommend taking a look at the following WWDC26 sessions, if you haven't had a chance to already:

These sessions provide an approachable introduction to all the topics you've mentioned, including Animation Graph, Script Graph, Compute Graph, and baking lightmaps.

In addition to these sessions, the Reality Composer Pro page is a valuable resource for tutorials and documentation as well.

If you still feel there are gaps remaining in the documentation, please file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant. Once you file the request, please post the FB number here.

If you're not familiar with how to file enhancement requests, take a look at Bug Reporting: How and Why?

Thanks!

That's a great point. All the sample code for the games we're using in the sessions (Chaparral Village and Squirrel) will be available to download soon.

Besides that, even if we don't have anything to announce today, we do understand the value of tutorials, more sample code, videos and in-person events on the topic.

Stay tuned for events and content in the Apple Developer portal.
