Expected changes when switching networks from wifi to mobile and vice-versa

It was mentioned in the keynote that there are changes/improvements in the switching between Wi-Fi and cellular. Where can I find more details about the expected changes?

The feature you are referring to is named Connectivity Assist. The idea is to seamlessly use Cellular when Wi-Fi is associated but underperforming, be it low signal from the access point or weak backhaul. An upcoming KB article will describe the use cases.

This behavior is automatic for apps that use the iOS APIs and network stack (e.g., URLSession / Network.framework). The feature bears no new iOS APIs or API changes.
