For context, I spent my entire Monday calling apple for 2 hours each time then restarting (I got through around 4 calls before apple phone support stopped) so a total of 8 hours. Today Ive been waiting another 3 hours and still no one has picked up. Ive never had this issue before usually it's a 10-20min wait if not less but this is totally different. A

Same here. I tried this morning and was on hold for over two hours. I've now been waiting for over an hour again and still haven't managed to get through.
I've also contacted them by email. Sometimes they reply in a day, but then I don't hear anything for the next couple of days. I'm currently waiting for a response to my latest email.
