We’re looking for beta testers for PPS – Play · Pause · Stop, a new iPhone app designed to make tracking working hours simple, fast and intuitive.
⚠️ Important: The current beta is available in Spanish only. Please join only if you are comfortable testing an app in Spanish.
PPS is designed for people who want to keep an accurate record of their working time and earnings without complicated time-management systems.
With PPS you can:
• Start, pause, resume and finish a workday • Add and edit workdays manually • Manage split shifts and breaks • Track regular and overtime hours • Configure your usual working schedule • Calculate estimated earnings based on hourly rates • View your work history in a calendar • Mark workdays as paid or pending • View summaries by day, week, month or custom date range • Add notes to individual workdays • Export work reports
This is our first external beta, so we’re particularly interested in feedback from people who have never used PPS before.
We would especially like to know:
• Is the app intuitive without instructions? • Is it obvious how to start and finish a workday? • Are pauses and split shifts easy to understand? • Are the calendar and summaries useful and clear? • Do regular/overtime calculations behave as expected? • Are earnings and paid/pending information understandable? • Is there anything confusing or unnecessarily complicated? • What feature do you think is missing? • Have you found any bugs, crashes or UI problems?
Suggestions and criticism are very welcome. We’re interested not only in finding bugs, but also in understanding how PPS feels to someone seeing it for the first time.
