Cannot find iPhone Duo simulator in Device Hub

I’m preparing my existing App Store app for iOS 27 and want to test interface resizability on iPhone Duo.

I cannot find the iPhone Duo simulator in Device Hub. Is it currently available? If so, what Xcode version/runtime is required and how do I add it?

Thanks!

I have the latest Xcode 27 from downloads section and Device Hub 27.

Where is 27.1 download?

Please see the Apple Developer iPhone Duo page as your starting point for all of the available resources. It currently says that the Xcode 27.1 beta will be coming later this month.

Hi there DTS team

The iPhone Duo looks fantastic, and naturally the developer experience needs to match that level of quality.

Are you considering offering the devices through a lease or subscription‑based rental model, so developers can test their apps on real hardware?

The Xcode Simulator is excellent, but physical interaction with the device during the porting process often influences design decisions and can even lead to reorganizing UI elements.

I strongly encourage you to explore this option. Expecting app developers to purchase a 2,000‑USD or 1’999 CHF device solely for testing may be an unrealistic barrier (feel free to call my wife :-)).

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards Chris

I recall the period in 2015 when Apple distributed the initial AppleTV developer kits for a $1 verification fee. That marked the final instance of receiving anything free from Apple.
