RoomPlan crashes spiking on iOS 27

We're seeing a pretty significant spike in RoomPlan crashes on iOS 27, specifically a RoomScanCore EXC_BREAKPOINT.

This crash isn't new, we've seen a low background rate of it across earlier iOS versions, but since iOS 27 shipped, the rate has jumped substantially, well beyond what iOS 27's adoption share alone would explain.

We haven't reproduced the crash internally. As with the existing crashes, it's seemingly environment/scenario-dependent in ways that don't always show up in our QA passes.

Is anyone else seeing this? Are there known issues that will be patched next month with iOS 27.2?

If you haven't already, could please submit feedback using Feedback Assistant and if you are able to reproduce the crash, please include any crash reports (.ips files) from the iOS 27.0 devices you've experienced this issue on. The reports help us identify where a crash could be coming from rather than trying to guess at the root cause. Check out Bug Reporting: How and Why? for more advice on submitting feedback to Apple.

Additionally, if you can provide info on room conditions (for example lighting, room size, or how soon after starting the scan) please add that too.
