The native iOS Stocks app search engine contains a character parsing bug that completely excludes Indian stock tickers containing an ampersand (&) from search indices. Major NSE/BSE large-cap symbols like Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) and Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M) do not populate in search results by ticker, company name, or numerical BSE code, even though the data is actively available on the back-end data provider (Yahoo Finance).
