Has anyone encountered this issue on macOS 26.5.1, and is there a supported workaround?

I click Invite Players, then Invite Friends, then blank...

happened in a game "4 in a row" too.. if you wanna test https://apps.apple.com/ch/app/4-in-a-row-board-game-connect/id1067283885?l=en-GB
