Touch screen registering fake/ghost touches

I use an iPhone X with 11.3 Beta 5 ( public beta ) on it. I have started to notice that there are a lot of fake/ghost touches being registered. Without me physically touching the screen, sometimes ( more than 5 times a day ) the OS takes over, clicks on random parts of the screen. I have have folders being opened and apps open, I have also had Contacts app opened and a phone number clicked. This has gotten really annoying since most of the times, the screen freezes as well. I hope this is just a 11.3 bug and will be fixed in the final version. Anyone else have had this issue ? I see that it was reported in December and some people were asked to replace the phones.

While it could be something related to the beta, the symptoms you’re describing are classic water damage on the display.

i have been having severe problems with this, no water damaged. Started the moment I updated to 11.3. Trying to do a restore now, also getting reports of it happening to other People. Device is almost completely unusabl.
