Dear Developers, I am wondering if there is a way to build on the current "Low Fuel" notification. Currently, if my low fuel light activates while Carplay is on, a low fuel notification is also sent to my phone. If the car can communicate this, can it also communicate mileage range? This way, if I'm in the middle of a route and the low fuel light engages, Carplay could suggest the nearest gas stations on the route within the remaining mileage range. Any information would be very helpful!

Hi Apple Team & Everyone, Can someone guide me why sending 'diskutil eraseDisk APFS "WIPED" GPT /dev/disk0' command via terminal to remove/wipe the main physical drive (disk0) is failed? I tried booting into recovery mode, but it still didn’t work. The command returned the following error: Started erase on disk0 Unmounting disk The volume on disk0 couldn't be unmounted because it is in use by process 0 (kernel). Error: -69877: Couldn't open device I understand that we can use Disk Utility (GUI) to unmount and erase the drive. Is it possible to perform this operation via Terminal to erase disk0? I bought a Mac mini M4 and when I used it to sign up for a developer account, I was always encountered, it needed me to take a photo, but I didn't have a camera, so I used the iriun software to connect my phone to take a photo, it works fine in FaceTime, but when I take a photo in the Apple Developer app, the round photo frame is shown black. How can I make the camera work and if I buy a third-party camera?

Hi everybody, My team and I are currently working on an app that requires us to use localizations for the CFBundleDisplayName property in info.plist. However we are running into some issues ourselves, we need to localise the CFBundleDisplayName property for two specific countries: Netherlands Belgium We've tried to use the String catalog and we've added the corresponding languages/regions there: nl-BE (CFBundleDisplayName = x) nl-NL (CFBundleDisplayName = y) However the nl-BE localization does not seem to be used when changing the device language to Dutch (Belgium). It uses the nl-NL (y) value for the CFBundleDisplayName. Is it possible to use CFBundleDisplayName localizations for specific regions that use the same language? such as Belgium and the Netherlands. If not I fear that we need to build two apps...

Scenario: hardware keyboard is attached to iPhone Before iOS 18.2, if I setup only two keyboards (e.g., english and emoji) in the system, click Globe key can switch to iOS emoji keyboard without problem. Since iOS 18.2, it stop working, and emoji keyboard is never displayed. I need to add one more keyboard, then I can switch to emoji keyboard (via the keyboard selector).

I deleted an app off of my screen and from my app library and cannot get it back. I also added face ID only to get in. The only way that I can get to the app is from the app store by searching it up and pressing open. I cannot search it on the home screen or app library. I’ve been on settings>general>iPhone storage>hidden apps to delete it but it takes just displays the loading circle and doesn’t do a thing. I’ve offloaded the app and redownloaded it and it still won’t appear. It’s a massive pain to have to go onto the app store and search it up every time i need to open it (which is around 20 times a day 😭) and I would really appreciate a solution. Believe me- I have tried EVERYTHING!

We are a technical team of a large enterprise whose main business depends on internally developed iOS applications. Our Apple enterprise developer account expires on February 16th, and we filled in the renewal application form before that, but it was rejected by Apple. We contacted the Apple consultant through Apple's official website, and they said that the enterprise department is a separate department, and they could not solve my problem. Later, after efforts, I directly contacted the email address of the enterprise department, and I explained our situation. After their review, the final plan still could not renew, but only extended the use of our P12 certificate, and the maximum extension was one year in the end, so that we can deal with the application that is being distributed by the enterprise as soon as possible. May I ask if there is any better way to successfully renew my account? We only extended the certificate, which is not what we want, but this is the only way at present. I have 2017 GMC Sierra and no bluetooth so I have to use USB. It worked fine for years but as soon as I down loaded the iOS 18 update when I try to listen to music, it plays a small clip of the song then stops and forwards through the rest of the song and skips to the next. It does this with every song whether it’s a playlist or downloaded on to my phone. I hate listening to the radio and having to listen to commercials which is why I have a 1 year subscription to Apple Music. Because of this glitch I have to listen to the friggin radio in the truck and search for the radio stations I like and suffer through stupid commercials every 10 minutes. None of the updates have fixed this glitch. Please, I beg you, fix it.

Problem Description: On the iPad 10th tablet, when a USB 2.0 interface extended by a Type - C interface through a USB 2.0 hub is used to connect a keyboard, there is an issue that the keyboard cannot wake up the system when the system version is 18.0 (inclusive) or higher. However, this problem does not occur on systems earlier than 18.0. Note: To ensure low power consumption of the product, if there is no key press on the keyboard for 10 minutes, the power supply of some functions of the hub will be cut off, but the power supply of the keyboard will remain on. When a key is pressed, the power supply of all functions of the hub will be reconnected.

When dealing with SwiftUI and searchable modifier, I know you can use URL or hard code data to search when building projects in Xcode. I am looking to see if you can use a txt file as a way or storing string data of lists to search from when your device is offline when using the search modifier. Then when connected to internet you can update the search with url connection that then updates the txt file so you can do new searches the next time you are offline again. Is this something that is possible?

Too many irrelevant posts come up when I attempt to search for something. There should be an easy button or something to earmark posts as something irrelevant- something that shouldn't come up in a search. I'm looking for something in Xcode 15 and frequently the top posts in the search are 10 years old and don't have any relevance whatsoever to the solution to my problem.

I have a Logitech Yeti GX microphone, which is working, but i am unable to fully use all its features because of a driver issue. Logitech states the following to resolve "The program Logitech G Hub Driver installer tried to load a new driver extension. To enable this extension, open Systems Settings>General>Login Items & Extensions>Logitech G Hub HID Driver Extension> Toggle on.... that appears to be simple enough... only problem is that Driver Extension doesnt exist as an option for me. Any thoughts as to why not? Thanks for your help.

I updated my Apple Watch Series 6 before Apple withdrew beta 11.4 as an option. I see on forums that I am not alone with this issue. Many series 6 watches are now stuck in a boot loop. I hope Apple can resolve the issue for those of us that pushed the update to our watches before the issue was identified. Support were unable to assist.

I am looking to do an app for dog owners, trainers and enterprises such as shelters & boarding, and a couple of features require access to one or more cameras in real time. So I have been looking for hardware that provides an API and coming up empty. So far as I can tell none of the major pet cam companies, like Furbo, Petcube or Eufy. Even security cameras like the TP-Link Tapo doesn't seem to. Am I just failing epically in my search formulation, or are all these companies playing the printer game and selling the camera cheap and making all their money in the monthly subscription to actually be able to use the hardware, and keeping that to themselves? And, can anyone recommend decent to good third party hardware that does provide a Swift API? Or am I better off just targeting the use of iPhone & iPad and Mac cameras? It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing.
