Experiencing frequent automatic restarts on my late 2013 iMac running OS Catalina 10.15.7. Fairly certain that the issue doesn't have to do with my peripherals (external hard drive, flash drives, CD burner) and thinking it's a software issue. Hi folks, First - I'm not a developer. Some time ago I came across Sequoia Beta and installed it thinking it was just a usage data collection thing. I recently wanted to delete it because I suspected it was causing other issues, but was only offered to have updates stopped. My MacBook Pro M2 still says I'm running Sequoia 15.3 (Beta 24D5034f). I have another, maybe unrelated issue and posted a question about it on Apple Community but the question was deleted and I was pointed here because I mentioned the Beta! This was my question: I can FaceTime from the iPhone but when I try to FaceTime from the Mac, I get a notification on the Mac saying: "iPhone calls not available. Your iPhone is not configured to allow calls using this Mac". My iPhone is a 14Plus on iOS 18.2.1 (22C161). I've tried the iPhone and Mac fixes suggested by Apple but no luck there - that was all about turning iMessages and FaceTime off or signing out for both devices, then power cycling both devices. I don't understand how this is supposed to work. Could my issue be related to the Beta? If so, and in any case, how do I remove the Beta? TIA

Hi everybody, My team and I are currently working on an app that requires us to use localizations for the CFBundleDisplayName property in info.plist. However we are running into some issues ourselves, we need to localise the CFBundleDisplayName property for two specific countries: Netherlands Belgium We've tried to use the String catalog and we've added the corresponding languages/regions there: nl-BE (CFBundleDisplayName = x) nl-NL (CFBundleDisplayName = y) However the nl-BE localization does not seem to be used when changing the device language to Dutch (Belgium). It uses the nl-NL (y) value for the CFBundleDisplayName. Is it possible to use CFBundleDisplayName localizations for specific regions that use the same language? such as Belgium and the Netherlands. If not I fear that we need to build two apps...

I use the scan feature notes frequently. Steps were: open app click paperclick click scan documents scan save then I share to my email. click mail icon on then I would normally be given a size to choose from small, medium or large it would ask about the subject which I always let blank. With my new phone/updated ios I am given an option to to mail drop or attach document. I have done both and my document size is large. I need to minimize to 25% to fit on computer screen. I spoke to apple support. How do I fix this?

I deleted an app off of my screen and from my app library and cannot get it back. I also added face ID only to get in. The only way that I can get to the app is from the app store by searching it up and pressing open. I cannot search it on the home screen or app library. I’ve been on settings>general>iPhone storage>hidden apps to delete it but it takes just displays the loading circle and doesn’t do a thing. I’ve offloaded the app and redownloaded it and it still won’t appear. It’s a massive pain to have to go onto the app store and search it up every time i need to open it (which is around 20 times a day 😭) and I would really appreciate a solution. Believe me- I have tried EVERYTHING!

I bought a Mac mini M4 and when I used it to sign up for a developer account, I was always encountered, it needed me to take a photo, but I didn't have a camera, so I used the iriun software to connect my phone to take a photo, it works fine in FaceTime, but when I take a photo in the Apple Developer app, the round photo frame is shown black. How can I make the camera work and if I buy a third-party camera?

Has any one worked with the NASA API website and/to develop a program to download information from the site, specifically pictures. I have been working to develop a program using the API for the Mars Rover for longer then I care to admit. I am able to get to the website and get a response/confirmation, but never able to receive any photo information. If someone has been successful with this or any of the NASA APIs (other than APOD, the first one on the site) I would appreciate any assistance you might be willing to share. I would like to see some of your program if you would not mind sharing it to understand where I might be going wrong. FYI this is all for my personal use and knowledge.

I developed a Desktop application using Electron. This application can be opened on Mac computers and computers with other chips, but cannot be opened on a computer with an M3 Max chip. The issue occurred on a macOS device where nsurlsessiond consumed excessive data (75GB+) while Microsoft Office was installed. No active usage was involved. The issue stopped after uninstalling Office. To reproduce: Install Office, monitor nsurlsessiond via Activity Monitor for high data usage.

I am trying to move my home directory to a secondary drive, but I am running into to two issues. When I try to do it via Finder I get the error - The operation can’t be completed because “<my account name>” needs to be downloaded. And when I try to do it via the terminal in recovery mode (after mounting the Data directory), It seems to copy a set of directories within ~/Library/Daemon Containers/. These appear to be snapshots of some sort, which when cp runs, end up taking up the entire drive of the target drive, which is 4 times larger than my base volume. Two questions: Why I am getting the message via finder (and how do I get around it? What is the correct process for moving the home directory to a second drive? Thanks!

I updated my Apple Watch Series 6 before Apple withdrew beta 11.4 as an option. I see on forums that I am not alone with this issue. Many series 6 watches are now stuck in a boot loop. I hope Apple can resolve the issue for those of us that pushed the update to our watches before the issue was identified. Support were unable to assist.
