From iOS 26Beta1, iOS 26Beta1.1 to iOS 26Beta2. I couldn't log in to the Feedback App for 4 weeks. It kept prompting BUGs and asked me to log in to Feedback. However, the problem was that I couldn't log in to Feedback. So the problem kept repeating. Apple didn't receive any feedback, so Apple thought this was the most successful version in the history of iOS because it didn't receive any feedback.

Frequently, when transferring large files using AirDrop, it will suddenly fail mid-transfer. Looking into the macOS logs reveals the fault:

This is my first problem and my first question hopefully somebody can help or give me some suggestions. I was in the developr beta of IOS 26 build(235260n) for a while I haven't updated it since the new beat has came out, beta 3. I have been trying to update requested, after about 20 seconds it goes away but does not start the download the update. The problem also begins to download something into the system beta goes from 22.85 GB to 33.78 GB. It just holds the update but doesn't;t update the phone. I have tried power cycling the device and everytime I do that it just resets the system data and allows up to try the update again. Unsure what to do and don't know if I would need to wait for the public beta for IOS26 to change anything on the device. Please let me know if you guys have any more suggestions what should be the next step. I also was unsure if I should backup the device and reinstall it to make sure that its not something with the conncetion.

Dear team,
I am reaching out to inquire about potential daily usage limits for the CoreLocation geocoding services.
While I understand that there is a known limit of approximately 50 requests per minute, I have received information suggesting there may also be a daily cap of 25,000 requests.
Could you please confirm whether such a daily limit exists?
Additionally, I would appreciate any recommendations you might have for increasing the allowable number of daily geocoding requests, if possible.
Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi everyone,
After updating to iOS 26 Developer Preview on my iPhone, I’m experiencing a repeated issue with certain third-party apps.
⸻
-Issue details:
• The apps open as if freshly installed, showing the onboarding or login screen each time
• User session is completely lost (no saved login or data)
• Around 10 seconds after launch, the app automatically closes
• It disappears from the app switcher (not just backgrounded)
• This happens every time, with no crash message or error shown
⸻
-What I’ve tried:
• Reinstalled the apps
• Restarted the device
• Toggled Face ID, Background App Refresh, etc.
• Confirmed I’m running the latest iOS 26 Developer Preview build
➡️ Problem still occurs exactly the same way
⸻
-Feedback status:
I submitted a report via Feedback Assistant with a screen recording and full reproduction steps. No response yet after several days.
⸻
-Looking for:
• Confirmation from others with similar issues
• Info on whether this is already being tracked by Apple
• Whether it’s worth resubmitting a new Feedback report
Thanks for any insight.

Over the past few months, I’ve been experiencing persistent, abnormal behavior on my iPhone. Here's a short timeline:
March 2025: Most apps log me out every time I close them.
April 2025: Stored passwords suddenly begin failing across apps and websites.
May–June 2025: Password recovery emails from Gmail accounts no longer arrive — suggesting that Gmail itself may be compromised or blocked/intercepted.
Given the escalation, I ran several diagnostics and extracted system-level logs. Below is a structured summary of findings that point toward potential remote access, network traffic rerouting, and possibly hidden use of Bluetooth or debugging interfaces.
Device Information
Model: iPhone17,1 (A17 chip)
iOS Version: 18.5 (Build 22F76)
Status: Stock, not jailbroken or running a developer build
Region: Netherlands
Carrier: KPN NL
Language/Locale: Dutch (nl-NL)
1. Evidence of Remote Services and XPC Connectivity
Source: remotectl_dumpstate.txt
More than 50 remote lockdown and diagnostic services are listed as active.
Notable entries:
com.apple.mobile.lockdown.remote.trusted and .untrusted
com.apple.mobile.file_relay.shim.remote
com.apple.webinspector.shim.remote
com.apple.pcapd.shim.remote
com.apple.bluetooth.BTPacketLogger.shim.remote
com.apple.mobile.insecure_notification_proxy.remote
This volume of .shim.remote and diagnostic services appears highly irregular for a non-debug, non-jailbroken device.
2. Skywalk Network Flows and Unusual Routing
Source: skywalk.txt
Dozens of flowswitch entries across interfaces like:
ipsec0-7, pdp_ip0-2, en0-2, awdl0
Apps such as Gmail, ChatGPT, Preferences, and com.apple.WebKit are marked as defunct, yet persist in flow tables.
Two specific daemons — replicatord and siriactionsd — appear on nearly every interface, in both QUIC and TCP6 traffic.
skywalkctl flow-route shows multiple external IP paths, with flows routed through ipsec7, owned by kernel_task.0 — indicate tunnelling?
3. System Anomalies and Resource Behavior
Inaccessible System Network Tools
Source: get-network-info.txt
All scutil calls fail (/usr/sbin/scutil does not exist).
This blocks access to:
DNS configuration (scutil --dns)
Proxy and VPN status (scutil --proxy, --nc list)
Reachability checks (scutil -r www.apple.com)
The absence of scutil is not expected right?
Unusual Resource Usage
Source: assetsd.diskwrites_resource-2025-06-25.json
assetsd, working on behalf of cloudphotod, wrote over 1 GB of memory-backed files in under 1.5 hours.
4. Metadata Confirmation
Source: Analytics-2025-06-27-020008.json
Confirms:
iPhone capacity: 256 GB
DRAM: 7.5 GB
Carrier: KPN NL
Apps marked as highly active ("Games", "Creativity") in analytics also appear as defunct in skywalk, suggesting ghost background processes.
Key Questions for the Developer Community
Are >50 remote .shim.remote services typical on iOS 18.5 (release build)? Or does this suggest tampering, an MDM configuration, or debug provisioning?
Could a misconfigured VPN or MDM profile enable persistent flow-switching across multiple interfaces (e.g., ipsec, pdp, awdl) and reroute app traffic such as Gmail?
Is it possible for a test or developer certificate to silently side-load a background daemon, or trigger services like pcapd or file_relay, without showing in Profiles or Settings?
Has anyone else seen the scutil binary missing or inaccessible on a stock iPhone? Could this be a sign of intentional lockdown or system modification?
If anyone on iOS 18.5 / iPhone17,1 can share their remotectl_dumpstate output, I'd like to compare the service count and see if this behavior is reproducible.
I’d appreciate any insight from those familiar with Apple’s system daemons, skywalk internals, or network service behavior. Happy to share sanitized logs or run additional diagnostics if needed.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have iOS 18.4 beta, where can I see the energy consumption, by Matter 1.3?, in Apple Home application?, I see it is in beta, thanks Michal.
Hello engineers, technicians and Apple community,
I'm an autodidact technician from Temuco, Chile. I have built a fully documented surgical Apple restore lab focused on extreme intervention and analysis for a disabled iPhone XR.
The restoration was executed using POSIX infrastructure (MSYS2/UCRT64, WSL2, Hyper-V) with manual compilation of essential tools (libirecovery, img4tool, libimobiledevice). All scripting, bootchain traces and environment diagnostics have been published for public review.
🔧 GitHub repository (public):

📄 PDF portfolio (attached):
Apple_XR_Surgical_Portfolio.pdf
I have submitted a formal technical request to Apple Developer Support with full rights, asking for community engagement and further access to devices for expanded research.
My goal is to contribute surgical technical insight, empower autodidact technicians in underserved regions, and help strengthen Apple restoration transparency from the ground.
All traces, interventions and logs are public and replicable. Feedback, validation or references to Apple restoration mechanisms are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for considering this independent initiative.

The Apple logo and progress bar appear, and the progress bar gets about halfway through when the screen disappears, then reappears with the Apple logo and progress bar, and then eventually the progress bar just disappears, and only the Apple logo appears. After staring at that for an hour, I gave up and restored iOS 18.5.
I made three attempts with Beta 1 and one attempt with Beta 2 and had the same results.

I have an iPhone 14 running iOS 26 Beta 2 that I wanted to start using Personal Voice on. It allowed me to complete the recordings and start the process, however even with the phone charging and locked the process hangs.
It is connected to WiFi and cellular while attempting to run. It is connected to a 20W apple charger with an offical cable. I have a sneaking feeling it's related to me running the iOS beta on this device. I've provided some info below.

ISAC Client is crashing on macOS 15.4 Beta 1 which is from from the WebKit engine the underlying framework of WKWebView. And the "ResourceLoadNotifier" is from WebKit's internal framework. It seems to be related to resource loading failure which is potentially triggered by changes in macOS 15.4 Beta.
I've got the initial WWDC beta of macOS 26 (25A5279m) installed inside a virtual machine (UTM), but can't seem to update to the second beta. Nothing is showing up within Software Update.
Is this because it's within a VM, or am I doing something wrong?
It'd be a real pain to have to install a new VM afresh with the RestoreImage for every update.
Updated iPhone to 26 beta 2, everything is ok but battery, battery is changed, not original. My phone can't charge higher than 1% and turns off every 5 minutes, even connecting to wireless charger and cable at the same time don't work, restored iPhone thru iTunes.I hope I will be able to install new beta without any problems because loving the new design, hoping for the best. Thanks.

Hello developers,
My question isn't directly related to app or software development, but this seems to be the most appropriate channel to possibly find the information I need.
Context
I work for an automotive company and I'm currently looking for Apple CarPlay certification guidelines.
We're in the process of installing a multimedia system in a vehicle. The most viable solution would be to use the multimedia unit and microphone provided by our supplier, but with a custom wiring harness developed by our company to simplify the installation process. The multimedia unit, microphone, and the supplier’s harness are already certified for CarPlay.
Question
Would using our company’s custom wiring harness affect the existing CarPlay certification of the supplier’s product?
Any information, contact, or suggestion on where I could find official guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Upgraded my M1 Mac mini from MacOS Tahoe 26 Beta to Beta 2. Prior to the update I had no problem connecting to the Max mini from my MacBook Pro M2 running Now, attempting to connect to the Mac mini from a MacBook Pro M2 running Sequoia 15.5. After the update, I can enter my password, but then I am disconnected with the error "This Mac was unable to start a High Performance connection to the Mac mini" and to "change the screen sharing type to standard and try again"
Connecting via a "Standard" connection showed that the Window Server failed.
With iOS 26.0 (23A5276f) I can’t make calls via Bluetooth on any device. Any workaround?
