Max supported iOS version for each device

Hey all,

So I've seen the third party websites showing the supported iOS versions for specific devices.

Eg. iPhone 5's max supported iOS version was iOS 10

Does Apple provide any type of doc to show the max supported iOS version for all their devices?

Thanks!

Not that I can find...such matrices are, as you noted, the purview of 3rd parties.

Apple tends to only tout which devices, en masse, are supported by whatever the latest OS is. Example: https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-12/

You will find it on wikipedia (I found a detailed table on french version only).

h ttps://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhoneook at section labeled : Caractéristiques techniques

and expand older models.

You will find that all from 5S support IOS12, but iPhone "1" support only up to iPhone OS 3.1.3 and 5 of 5C up to iOS 10.3.353

Correct, but this stil didn't answer whether Apple provides its own docs. Thank you though!
