Ahh, thank you for the excellent reply, I'll inform the team. And yes; there seems to be quite a conflict with using the term channel, especially combined with PTT. There is a decades long history where channel simply means individual interface between protocol and radio subsystem, and hopping between channels is completely independent of connectivity state.
