Hey thanks for replying, it looks like that first link is missing as it just goes to example.com I did find this document (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/imageio/creating-spatial-photos-and-videos-with-spatial-metadata) but after a quick scan it looks like this isn’t quite the same as my OP wanting to find an API that converts a flat image in to a 3D but I’ll have another read later on. thanks

I'm also hitting this issue and I've tried these workaround steps but can't see my extension under the Editor menu. Did anyone find any other workarounds?

Thanks Ziqiao, I was under the impression the code was TextKit2 so not sure if there's an action there to make it explicit in the code example that it's outdated and using TextKit1? Thanks for the workaround... Shame this issue is still around in iOS 18 Beta 2 / Xcode 16 beta 2. 😔
