I have encountered the same issue in other posts, yet Apple has never addressed it—even though our app serves hundreds of thousands of users.

The Apple ecosystem is built by developers around the world, and if Apple fails to give due attention to an app used by hundreds of thousands of people, the ecosystem will only deteriorate further in the future.
