Are you considering offering the devices through a lease or subscription‑based rental model, so developers can test their apps on real hardware? The Xcode Simulator is excellent, but physical interaction with the device during the porting process often influences design decisions and can even lead to reorganizing UI elements. I strongly encourage you to explore this option. Expecting app developers to purchase a 2,000‑USD or 1’999 CHF device solely for testing may be an unrealistic barrier (feel free to call my wife :-)).
