I log this information. missed logging the error code so wanted some way of finding it out

Is it possible to just identify that my app had crashed previously? Not getting the stack trace etc. just need something to tell me that my app was not closed by user but crashed. Calls are made to the getter but it isn't visible here. I am working with a subclass that is overriding the super class's UINavigationItem implementation so this method is being used.
