Same issue, still happening on iOS 17 beta 7

Have you found a solution for this issue? I am having the same problem. After sending a request to the location manager, nothing happens until split screen is closed. The other permissions work as expected. This can actually be reproduced with Apple Maps (!). When launching Maps and quickly entering split screen, only after closing it the permission request is shown.
