Same here, Catalina on MacBook Pro 2017. I noticed that when you run a second simulator, that second simulator does not have that problem.

Same here, I was running Big Sur but I decided to do a clean install with Sierra, (cause I had problems with the finder), I erase the volumen and begin the install, the install fails and now I can’t do anything but blame myself. Did you find a solution?

For me, the problem was in the OneDrive Extension for Finder, I disabled that and delete the OneDrive app and now it's working.
