Thanks a lot for the answer, Quinn. I've previously tried BG Processing tasks as well with the same structure. Still didn't seem to work for me. Used the NSURLSession framework to try to implement this and that would work when connected in XCode debugging mode but never when the device is disconnected from the debugger. Also, is being connected to power a mandatory requirement? Or can we set requiresExternalPower = False?
